Vietnamese Seafood

The cuisine of Vietnam has been known for its tastes, flavours, and healthiness. The late Anthony Bourdain was one most enthusiastic Vietnam street food lover. The narrow land of Vietnam brings a spicy taste of cuisine, the spice is just like a bite of a fire ant. Chilli, lemongrass, shrimp paste, lime and coriander are all ingredients to look out for in both of tonight’s recipes.  Tonight make vietnamese caramelized prawns (Tom Rin) and a delicious vietnamese seafood pho.

Complimentary beverage on arrival.

Bar open from 5.30pm onwards.  Class starts promptly at 6pm.

Paulie Hooton

The Seafood School’s head chef, Paulie Hooton, has more than 25 years’ experience working in some of New Zealand’s most iconic restaurants. Before joining the Seafood School in 2017, he was Head Chef at the award winning The Oyster Inn on Waiheke Island.
