VALENTINES CELEBRATION

3 hr class.  Love of NZ Seafood is shared in tonight’s class with recipes that have been created especially for you and your special partner.  Work alongside one other couple at a bench of 4 then sit down and enjoy a delicious seafood meal complimented with Babich wines and Birkenhead Brewing Company artisan beers. Complete your meal with a selection of  Rush Munro  icecream and seasonal fruit kebabs.  Tonight you will start with freshly shucked oysters with a ponzu dressing, Salmon sashimi with ginger and hot sesame oil and followed by Pan fried market fish with a fennel, orange and olive salad.

Complimentary beverage on arrival.

Bar open from 5.30pm.  Class starts promptly at 6pm.

Paulie Hooton

The Seafood School’s head chef, Paulie Hooton, has more than 25 years’ experience working in some of New Zealand’s most iconic restaurants. Before joining the Seafood School in 2017, he was Head Chef at the award winning The Oyster Inn on Waiheke Island.

Was a little nervous about the whole ‘cooking thing’ however the chef and the people I cooked with made things a breeze – plus heaps of fun.
