A taste of Pacifica – Seafood of the Islands

Bringing this wonderful melting pot of colourful cultures and food together in fresh seasonal seafood recipes blended with the spices and fruits of the Pacific to create flavour combinations that stimulate the taste buds. In this class you will cook two delicious seafood recipes inspired by the islands in the pacific. Tonight make pacific island fish in a coconut sauce with spinach and curried kumara and Ika mata.

Complimentary beverage on arrival.

Bar open from 5.30pm.  Class starts promptly at 6pm.

Paulie Hooton

The Seafood School’s head chef, Paulie Hooton, has more than 25 years’ experience working in some of New Zealand’s most iconic restaurants. Before joining the Seafood School in 2017, he was Head Chef at the award winning The Oyster Inn on Waiheke Island.
