Taste of Japan

Japan is a sensory wonderland, and its street food scene is no exception. Yatai are small food stalls that can be found along Japanese streets. These vendors offer an accessible and tasty selection of on-the-go dishes, with flavours of umami, spring onion, pickled ginger, caramel and citrus. In tonight’s class cook two Japanese street food seafood dishes. Tonight make ikayaki grilled squid and and japanese style rice, smoked salmon  and  pickled ginger dressing.

Complimentary beverage on arrival.

Bar open from 5.30pm onwards.  Class starts promptly at 6pm

Was a little nervous about the whole ‘cooking thing’ however the chef and the people I cooked with made things a breeze – plus heaps of fun.
