Fresh New Zealand Seafood matched with artisan NZ beers and Babich wines – celebrate your Friday night with us. Tapas are perfect for all occasions as entrees, shared plates or light meals. Tonight your chef will guide you with some fabulous seafood ideas and recipes to help plan your special seasonal events. Tonight you will be cooking Tuna Tataki with fried garlic, French onion, citrus dressing and fresh herbs. Seared scallops with a cauliflower puree, fried capers and thyme finished with nut brown butter. PLUS prosciutto wrapped salmon with goats cheese tortellini with a tomato and basil salsa.
Complimentary beverage on arrival. Bar open from 5.30pm. Class starts promptly at 6pm.

Steve Roberts is a multi-award-winning chef with an infectious passion for cooking. After classical professional training, Steve decided travel was on the cards. This led him to Australia and then on to Japan for six years, where he soaked up the nuances of Japanese cuisine. A great way to enjoy a relaxed and entertaining Sunday brunch with a difference. We invited along some friends and created our own bench of 5.

The Filleting class is amazing! Chef John Campbell is entertaining and incredibly helpful. We enjoyed a delicious lunch and I can now fillet the catch!

Was a little nervous about the whole ‘cooking thing’ however the chef and the people I cooked with made things a breeze – plus heaps of fun.
