SPECIALTY – Ramen Night

2½ hour class.  Look, Cook, Eat.

This popular Japanese dish has become the ultimate guilt-free cult comfort food.  Discover the secrets and flavours behind this amazing dish in tonight’s class.  Full flavoured broth and fresh noodles are complemented with a variety of toppings including meat, seafood, seaweed and seasonal vegetables.  Every region in Japan has its own ramen variation – and tonight will be our own unique NZ version of Seafood Miso Ramen - charred corn, bean sprouts and soft boiled egg, using a combination of red and white miso gives a good balance to the broth.  PLUS a spicy Korean Ramen bowl.

There will be some fabulous Kikkoman prize giveaways on the night.

Complimentary beverage on arrival.

Bar open from 6pm.  Class starts promptly at 6.30pm.

Paulie Hooton

The Seafood School’s head chef, Paulie Hooton, has more than 25 years’ experience working in some of New Zealand’s most iconic restaurants. Before joining the Seafood School in 2017, he was Head Chef at the award winning The Oyster Inn on Waiheke Island.
