Seafood Surf ‘n’ Turf

Celebrate the great combination of pairing seafood and meat together and the cooking technique of the grill.  It is a curious combination that sprung from America’s fascination with “Continental Cuisine” in the 60’s. Today you will cook 2 delicious recipes and then sit down to enjoy the wonderful flavours of “Surf ‘n’ Turf “.  Sesame ginger scallops with chinese sausage and grilled pork chop with prawn and pineapple salsa.

Complimentary beverage on arrival.

Bar open from 5.30pm onwards.  Class starts promptly at 6pm.

Paulie Hooton

The Seafood School’s head chef, Paulie Hooton, has more than 25 years’ experience working in some of New Zealand’s most iconic restaurants. Before joining the Seafood School in 2017, he was Head Chef at the award winning The Oyster Inn on Waiheke Island.
