Seafood Subs and Sliders

Seafood subs and sliders are a smaller and tasty version of a larger meal and have had a rise in popularity and are fast becoming a trendy option. In tonight’s class you will make a fish slider recipe and submarine sandwich known as a sub, hoagie or hero filled with delicious seafood. In tonight’s class make cajun spiced fish sliders with gherkin relish, hot sauce and heirloom tomatoes, followed by lobster and prawn seafood sub with proper crisps.

Complimentary beverage on arrival.

Bar open from 5.30pm onwards.  Class starts promptly at 6pm.

Paulie Hooton

The Seafood School’s head chef, Paulie Hooton, has more than 25 years’ experience working in some of New Zealand’s most iconic restaurants. Before joining the Seafood School in 2017, he was Head Chef at the award winning The Oyster Inn on Waiheke Island.
