Seafood Masterclass

Join us for a Babich wine and cheese tasting on arrival and cook two amazing seasonal seafood recipes that you’d find in fine dining restaurants from our very own Head Chef Paulie Hooton. Using fantastic artisan produce and premium NZ seafood, this class is not to be missed for the confident cook amongst you. Learn pro tips and tricks from behind the scenes and seafood cooking techniques in tonight’s masterclass.  Tonight cook tuna tataki, sesame dressing and Asian slaw followed by grilled scampi, carrot and coriander salad with wasabi mayonnaise.

Complimentary beverage on arrival.

Bar open from 5.30pm onwards.  Class starts promptly at 6pm.

Paulie Hooton

The Seafood School’s head chef, Paulie Hooton, has more than 25 years’ experience working in some of New Zealand’s most iconic restaurants. Before joining the Seafood School in 2017, he was Head Chef at the award winning The Oyster Inn on Waiheke Island.
