Seafood Markets – From Shop to Plate – Cloudy Bay Clams

In today’s class visit the Auckland fish market floor with chef to choose your selected species, then return to the Seafood School with your catch where chef will share with you tips and tricks and a delicious recipe to follow as you cook your lunch in the hands on classroom. Make the crowd favourite delicious Steamed clams with sake, lime juice, butter and thai basil

Enjoy a complimentary beverage during the hands on cooking.

Class starts promptly at 12 noon.

Paulie Hooton

The Seafood School’s head chef, Paulie Hooton, has more than 25 years’ experience working in some of New Zealand’s most iconic restaurants. Before joining the Seafood School in 2017, he was Head Chef at the award winning The Oyster Inn on Waiheke Island.
