SCHOOL HOLIDAY – Kids cooking classes

These school holidays we have 2 classes again, for our 7-12 age range classes are on the 9th and 16th July. Join the chef for a tour of the market and then enjoy cooking your lunch and dessert. Show us your skills in the kitchen to WIN some great prizes and take home a free apron. In today’s class cook Vietnamese crumbed fish tacos followed by Hot cakes with banana, blueberries, coconut and shaved chocolate.

Class starts promptly at 10am.

Paulie Hooton

The Seafood School’s head chef, Paulie Hooton, has more than 25 years’ experience working in some of New Zealand’s most iconic restaurants. Before joining the Seafood School in 2017, he was Head Chef at the award winning The Oyster Inn on Waiheke Island.

Was a little nervous about the whole ‘cooking thing’ however the chef and the people I cooked with made things a breeze – plus heaps of fun.
