Great New Zealand BBQ

2½ hr class.  Dust off the BBQ – summer is here!  The art of the seafood grill is showcased tonight alongside marinades and sauces.  We’ll also have a selection of specially matched craft beers from Birkenhead Brewing Company for you to try to accompany the sizzling dishes, as well as our range of Babich wines. Today learn some great tips when cooking seafood on the BBQ. Look forward to Calamari and rocket salad, pickled garlic with citrus and parmesan,  followed by Grilled salmon steak, roasted potatoes with chorizo and olive salsa

Complimentary beverage on arrival.

Bar open at 5.30pm.  Class starts promptly at 6pm.

Paulie Hooton

The Seafood School’s head chef, Paulie Hooton, has more than 25 years’ experience working in some of New Zealand’s most iconic restaurants. Before joining the Seafood School in 2017, he was Head Chef at the award winning The Oyster Inn on Waiheke Island.
