From the pampas of Argentina to the sprawling jungles of the Amazon to the slopes of the Andes – South America is a continent of contrasts. With such a diverse landscape, it is not surprising that this area is home to a variety of spices. Many of them are now grown in other regions of the world because they are so popular. Chillies, peppers and paprika await your taste buds in this class, tonight you will cook 2 stunning South American seafood recipes. Tonight make oyster ceviche with tigers milk dressing and a delicious brazilian seafood stew.

Bar open from 5.30pm onwards.  Class starts promptly at 6pm.

Paulie Hooton

The Seafood School’s head chef, Paulie Hooton, has more than 25 years’ experience working in some of New Zealand’s most iconic restaurants. Before joining the Seafood School in 2017, he was Head Chef at the award winning The Oyster Inn on Waiheke Island.
