Auckland Fish Market Presents – Tiki Thai

Tiki Thai is a tasty addition to Auckland’s Fish Market serving up Thai with a twist. Capitalising on traditional Thai food, Head Chef Cam Knox aims to use fresher and punchier ingredients to outline bolder notes in his cuisine. Tiki Thai creates simplistic dishes that astonish consumers with the intricacies of each mouthful. Thai food is known for its unique combinations of seasoning and flavour. Sweet, sour, spicy, salty and bitter, in tonight’s class cook with the ying and yang the sweet and sour. Prepare sashimi of white fish with red nahm jim and Pan seared market fish with green papaya slaw, nam phrik and peanuts.

Complimentary beverage on arrival.

Bar open from 5.30pm onwards.  Class starts promptly at 6pm

Was a little nervous about the whole ‘cooking thing’ however the chef and the people I cooked with made things a breeze – plus heaps of fun.
