Asian Seafood fusion “East vs West “

Ever wondered what it would be like to take an Asian dish and swap most of the principle ingredients with foods from south of the border? Take the challenge and try some of the recipes we have laid out for you. Don’t question the ingredients and methods. Give it a shot and your palate and cooking style might change for good.  Tonight cook 2 fusion inspired recipes. In this class cook steamed shellfish, Asian basil and oyster sauce followed by salt and pepper fish, jasmine rice with chilli lime dressing.

Enjoy a complimentary beverage in the auditorium during the demonstration with your chef.

Arrive anytime from 5.45pm onwards.  Class starts promptly at 6pm

Paulie Hooton

The Seafood School’s head chef, Paulie Hooton, has more than 25 years’ experience working in some of New Zealand’s most iconic restaurants. Before joining the Seafood School in 2017, he was Head Chef at the award winning The Oyster Inn on Waiheke Island.
